Remember Our Veterans - November 10, 2010

Date:
Nov 10 2010 7:00pm
Location:
Church Sanctuary
Event Description:

REMEMBER OUR VETERANS
On Veteran’s Day Eve, November 10, 2010,   St. Paul’s will be honoring our veterans, both active and retired at a special prayer service.   This prayer service is a spiritual “thank you” to all of our men and women that served in our armed forces.   We would like to honor all of your family members that served.   Please help us by filling out the “yellow form” at our WelcomeCenter and either drop in the collection basket or leave at the WelcomeCenter.   Volunteers are still needed to help with this event.   Please contact Deacon Jerry at the Parish Office 281.333.3891 if you are able to help in a BIG or small way. Thank you.

Parking at St. Paul's

Please be thoughtful when you park……

Out of respect for our neighbors across the street, we ask that all parishioners park in St. Paul’s parking lots first. Then park on our side of the street, only after our parking lots are full. After Fr. Albert’s sermon, this would be one way to spread the Gospel of Love.

Automatic Door Usage

Attention Parishioners: We have installed an automatic door near the Bookstore entrance which is operated by a wall push pad. The automatic door was installed in order to make our Church more accessible to persons with disabilities. Unfortunately, the motor that runs the automatic door opener is somewhat fragile and needs to be taken care of. We ask that you help us maintain the motor by using the automatic door push pad feature only when necessary and do not allow children to play with the push pad. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Mass for Hearing Impaired

*Mass for Hearing Impaired*
As a parish, St. Paul’s staff and volunteers work to minister to all people, regardless of their needs. If you or someone you know would benefit from having Mass interpreted in sign language, we are pleased to offer that ministry. Please contact Heidi Clark at 281.333.3891 ext. 328 to make specific arrangements.

Additionally, we are pleased to offer personal assistive listening devices to individuals who struggle to hear the Mass. Please see the Sound Board Technician prior to Mass to obtain one of these devices.

About Our New Church

You can now view a "tour" of the new church by clicking on "About Our New Church" on the left sidebar of the front page. It is relatively large file, so please be patient with the download. The pictures are beautiful so they are worth waiting for.

Parish Vision and Goals
