St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church

Building Committee

You're not too late for End of the Year Giving

END of the YEAR GIVING- Everyone is asked to please remember St. Paul the Apostle parish in your end of the year giving.  Our beautiful new church has been built which means the bills are rolling in. In order to keep the beauty of the church maintained, and in order to continue the beauty of God’s work through St. Paul’s different ministries, we need your financial help.    Gifts of cash, stocks, IRA’s and real property are only a few ways that you can help St. Paul the Apostle be God’s hands on earth. In order for your contribution to count for this calendar year, all gifts must be received no later than December 31, 2009. For more information please call Parish Administrator, Deacon Luis Lopez at 281.333.3891*330.

Please Help Us Be Safe!

Our new church is looking very nice, but it is still a construction site! If you happen to be at St. Paul's during the day while the workers are here, please please resist the temptation to wander in and take a peek. We still have serious safety and liability concerns that require us to prohibit unauthorized people in the new Church. Help us to keep our parishioners and visitors safe.

Landscaping News!!!

Dear Parish Family,
The Landscaping Team is excited to bring you the news that a company has been chosen to provide an irrigating system, grass and gardens to beautify the grounds of the new Church. All Season's Nursery in Pasadena, owned by parishioners Tini and Helena Geraldes, will soon begin work on our site. We look forward to seeing the beautification process take place.
Please pray for good weather (no hurricanes), and reasonable summer temperatures to assist the laborers in their work.
Thank you for your interest and excitement in the Ladscaping Project!

Landscaping the New Church

 An Appeal to Parishioners:
The Landscape Committee has been working with contractors to insure that the outside surroundings are as beautiful as our new Church on the inside.
We have interviewed irrigation companies, sod specialists, and landscapers. There has been some money set aside for landscaping but it does not cover all of the expenses. The extent of the landscaping will be in direct relation to the funds available.
Please consider a donation to help us afford a beautiful exterior worthy of our lovely new building.
If you are able to help us, you may send your donation to the Church or bring it to the office. Please mark it for Landscaping funds.
God bless you and thank you for your generosity,
The Landscape Committee

The Heavens Declare the Glory of God - March 2009 Update

St. Paul’s is such an exciting place to be. Everyday the new building takes on a different look, and it won’t be long before it is time to move into our new home. Below is a quick update of what has happened and what is to come in the near future. Please continue to pray for God’s blessing on our work. Timeline: Power Installation – completed March 2nd. Crucifix above main altar – end of April – will be hung on the day of delivery. Interior office area of building – will be finished by the end of May. Marble, altar, tabernacle and wood furnishings for the altar – end of May – will be stored until Church interior is painted. (The work inside of the Church is very time consuming. While it may seem that the outside is complete and the Church is ready, inside work is still being refined). Stained glass windows will arrive in June and will be installed at that time. Clear glass windows are being installed now as a protection from the elements and for the stained glass. The building is scheduled for completion during the month of July. Mass of Dedication of the new Church is scheduled for August 30 at 10:45 a.m. with His Eminence Daniel Cardinal DiNardo. Save this date! Please take time to enjoy the pictures of the new construction (continually updated) on the Church website. www.stpaulcatholic.org.
